Abstract: Cyberspace connects all aspects of America’s society, including our economy and governmental operations. With the intent of solidifying a whole-of-government approach, the National Cyber Strategy (NCS) lays out the U.S. government’s approach to ensure a prosperous and secure future. Each Executive Branch Department develops lower level strategies with the intent of protecting the homeland, promoting American prosperity, preserving peace through strength, and advancing democracy. U.S. Embassies are at the forefront of efforts to build global cyber capacity.

Affiliation: Information Management Officer at U.S. Embassy, Rome. Responsible for the operations, maintenance and cybersecurity of all U.S. Department Information Technology systems in Italy.
