Title: IT Security at the European Central Bank  

Speaker: Armando Leotta, Senior Cybersecurity Expert

Biography: Armando Leotta graduated in Computer Science from La Sapienza University in Rome. In 2008 he obtained a Master's degree in Information Security Management for the Enterprise and Public Administration at the same university, concluded with a three-month internship at CNIPA.

In 2003, he started working on Security Management and Management of Information Security Processes in the State General Accounting Department, for which he became head of the MEF/Consip Local Security Unit.

In 2010, he started dealing with security management at the Bank of Italy, where he held the role of expert, both in security incident management and within the Institute's Operational Risk Management system.

In 2015, he was involved in the definition and launch of CERTFin - the Italian Financial CERT - and the Bank of Italy's CERT.

Since 2018, he has been in charge of IT security governance at the European Central Bank.

Description: The seminar will focus on IT security in the ECB. Discussions will include details about the current trainee campaign of the European Central Bank to which students can apply.
