Perspectives on Cyber Operations
Abstract: The seminar will focus on the evolution of the organization of the Italian Defence in the cyber domain. Specifically, it will introduce the legal framework of reference from which derives what has been achieved by the Italian Ministry of Defence in the field of Cyberdefence, and the seminar will illustrate the Italian organization responsible for the implementation of the related tasks.
Subsequently, the seminar will illustrate the primary aspects that are leading to an organizational evolution aimed at completing the Cyber Defence capability and reaching full capacity in Cyber Operations, through the establishment of the Comando Interforze per le Operazioni Cibernetiche (Joint Operational Cyber Command), defining future needs for the land,maritime, air and space domains. The speech will conclude with final considerations and thoughts.
